HealthRCM was founded in 2010 by revenue cycle and medical coding professionals with a shared goal of helping healthcare organizations improve the quality and accuracy of their revenue cycle processes. We specialize in revenue cycle management, medical coding, provider training, auditing, and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) services for outpatient clinics and provider groups across the United States.

Our work is shaped by many years of hands-on experience with healthcare organizations of different sizes and specialties. Over the years, we have worked with organizations such as CityMD and Rendr in the New York metropolitan area. We maintain a 99% coding accuracy standard, supported by independent external audits, and our teams have achieved a 100% accuracy rate in a Medicare coding audit.

    Maiu Reismann-Mitt, MBA, CPC, CRC

    Maiu is a medical coding specialist and entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience in medical coding, auditing, provider training, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), and compliance. Her background includes urgent care, primary care, behavioral health, ENT, gastroenterology, oncology, pediatrics, radiology, surgery, and other specialties, with experience in ICD-10-CM, CPT, coding guidelines, and healthcare regulatory requirements.

    Throughout her career, Maiu has developed and led coding programs and compliance initiatives for healthcare organizations in the New York metropolitan area. She has built and managed coding teams that have achieved 100% accuracy in Medicare audits.

    Maiu also designed and led the development of an outpatient medical coding platform, translating coding requirements and workflows into a healthcare technology solution. Her work on the platform has given her hands-on experience in healthcare technology and product development, from defining requirements and designing workflows to testing and implementation.

    Maiu holds an MBA from Tallinn University of Technology and is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC).

    Kristi is a healthcare executive with 20+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, and strategic leadership. Her background includes operational planning, process improvement, and team development to support healthcare organizations and their revenue cycle operations.

    Throughout her career, Kristi has built and led revenue cycle departments, developed operational processes, and helped healthcare organizations to address complex financial and operational challenges. Her experience includes identifying and recovering millions of dollars in underpayments and developing processes to improve collections and overall revenue cycle performance.

    Kristi holds a Master of Health Administration from Columbia University and several professional certifications, including CPC, CEMC, and CPMA. She brings a strong understanding of healthcare operations and revenue cycle management with a thoughtful, collaborative approach to leadership and problem-solving.
